2. General Information on Data Processing
This Privacy Policy informs you about the nature, scope, and purpose of the processing of personal data on this website. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
The provision of personal data when merely visiting this website is neither statutorily nor contractually required. However, the automatic transmission of technical connection data (such as your IP address) by your browser is technically necessary to deliver the website. I do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
3. Website Hosting, Content Delivery, and Web Fonts (Carrd and Cloudflare)
This website is hosted by Carrd Inc., 231 Public Square, Suite 300, Franklin, TN 37064 (P.O. Box 718, Nashville, TN 37202), USA. Content delivery, DNS routing, web font rendering, and protection against malicious traffic are provided via the content delivery network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
When you access this website, server log files are automatically processed by the hosting infrastructure. These include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing device, and the exact timestamp of the server request. To ensure uniform visual presentation, web fonts and static assets are loaded directly via the hosting infrastructure without establishing unauthorized tracking connections. Server log data is not merged with other data sources and is automatically deleted after no more than 30 days.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, based on my legitimate interest in the technically error-free, secure, and rapid presentation of this website. Data transfers to the United States are safeguarded through the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the DPF) and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) issued by the European Commission pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.
4. SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential inquiries, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the https:// prefix and the lock icon in your browser address bar. Data transmitted via an encrypted connection cannot be read by third parties.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
This website does not use marketing, tracking, or profiling cookies. Only strictly necessary technical session or security tokens required by the host and security network to ensure website stability, defense against attacks, and form transmission may be processed. Accessing or storing this strictly necessary technical information does not require prior consent pursuant to Section 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG. Any subsequent processing of technical data is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
6. Contact Form and Email Inquiries
If you contact me via the contact form on this website or directly via email, the personal data you provide (your name, email address, and message content) will be processed exclusively for the purpose of handling and responding to your inquiry. Providing this data is voluntary, though I cannot process or answer your request without your contact details.
Messages submitted via the contact form are routed by Carrd Inc. to an Apple iCloud email account operated by Apple Distribution International Ltd. (Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Cork, Ireland) and Apple Inc. (One Apple Park Way, Cupertino, CA 95014, USA). Data transfers to the United States are safeguarded by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR.
The legal basis for processing your inquiry is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request is aimed at entering into or fulfilling a contract, or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in all other cases, based on my legitimate interest in effectively answering inquiries addressed to me. Your data will be deleted as soon as your inquiry has been conclusively resolved, provided no statutory retention periods (such as commercial or tax law requirements) require longer storage.
7. Web Analytics (Plausible)
This website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-preserving web analytics service provided by Plausible Insights OUE, Vaeike-Ameerika 10-101, 10129 Tallinn, Estonia. Plausible operates completely without cookies and stores no personally identifiable profiles. When your page view is registered, your IP address is only briefly processed to generate an anonymized, daily changing hash and is immediately discarded without ever being written to disk or stored in a database. All metrics (visited pages, referrer, approximate country of origin, device type, and operating system) are evaluated strictly in anonymized, aggregated form. Re-identification of individual visitors is technically impossible.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on my legitimate interest in anonymous reach measurement to optimize website content. All data processing by Plausible takes place exclusively on servers within the European Union.

When you access or download these instruments via the respective links, you access GitHub servers directly, which automatically process technical connection data (such as your IP address, browser information, and timestamp) to deliver the repository or files. The provision of these resources via GitHub is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing reliable and secure access to technical instruments and documentation). Data transfers to the United States are safeguarded under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (GitHub, Inc. and its parent company Microsoft Corporation are certified under the DPF) and Standard Contractual Clauses.
